  • Solar Powered Hosting Firm AISO.Net Gets US Green Building Council Approval

    California-based solar powered hosting company AISO.Net has become a member of the US Green Building Council (USBGC). The USBGC includes companies from across the building industry and promotes buildings that are environmentally responsible. The Council has established a green building rating system known as LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design). The next stage for AISO.Net is to receive LEED certification for the existing AISO.Net building. No other public Data Centre is currently a member of the USBGC.

  • Force10 Networks Joins The Green Grid

    Force10 Networks, a pioneer in building and securing reliable networks, has announced it has joined The Green Grid, a non-profit consortium dedicated to advancing energy efficiency in data centers and business computing ecosystems. As part of the alliance, Force10 will share best practices for leveraging high system-level density to increase data center energy efficiency. Data center networks are becoming increasingly complex in response to a growing number of applications that require more computing, storage and network capacity.
