  • Chloride Takes A Lead In Energy-Efficiency

    Chloride is the first UPS Company to put its name to the EU Code of Conduct for Energy Efficiency and Quality of AC Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS). This standby power initiative applies to three-phase UPS equipment above 10kVA and came into effect on 1st January 2008. Its aim is to minimise energy consumption (kWh) in Europe by maximising the energy efficiency of UPS. Signatories to the Code undertake to make every reasonable effort to achieve specified energy efficiency targets for new equipment.
