  • Equinix expands into Asia Pacific

    Equinix Inc, a provider of network-neutral data centres and Internet exchange services, is expanding Equinix Command Center (ECC), a suite of managed services for the management and monitoring of enterprise-level information systems and network infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific market. With the new enhancements made to ECC, the suite now includes Smart Admin, Smart Watch and Smart Hands. The services are available for customers in the Asia-Pacific market, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.

  • Marconi launches hosted application

    Marconi Corporation plc has launched a hosted key system application, Impact UltraKey. The new application, developed in conjunction with its partner Mitel Networks, enables service providers to deliver a range of hosted voice and web services to small- and mid-sized enterprises (SME) over a common broadband connection. Gamma Telecom, the UK's fastest growing alternative service provider, is currently trialling the new application. Marconi's Impact UltraKey is a hosted application, which resides in a service provider network.
