The Denver-based non-profit organization, which is in the process of moving its operations to San Ramon, Calif., provides four-year life scholarships to help military veterans with service-related injuries to once again become self-sufficient.

Parallels has announced that Cobweb, a leading provider of hosting services in Europe, will be the first service provider to use Parallels Automation with hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, a fully integrated customer relationship management (CRM) system. Cobweb has purchased the Parallels Automation solution to automate the delivery of several new hosting offerings and service bundles.

Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM), a leading global service provider for accelerating content and applications online, has announced a major global increase in the amount of end-user geographies it is serving on behalf of its SaaS clientele. Akamai-accelerated SaaS transactions have grown ten-fold over the past two years, delivering optimized performance and availability of its customers' SaaS offerings to geographically-dispersed users residing in nearly 150 countries.

DediPower, one of the UK's fastest growing managed hosting providers, has announced that its Thames Valley Hosting Centre has been selected by Favorit to provide co-location services within its data centre to host an innovative blogging aggregation platform. With a global coverage in the blogoshere, Favorit required a data centre with solid network resilience and connectivity to house its critical IT infrastructure.

Accenture Japan has announced a global outsourcing agreement with Eisai Medical Research Inc., the Japanese pharmaceutical company. Accenture will provide Eisai with clinical data management services through its delivery centre in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India as a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) deal. The areas covered by the agreement will include Japan, the US and Europe. Clinical data management describes a set of activities which includes data collection, processing, preparation for analysis and the archiving of clinical trial data used in the pharmaceutical industry.

Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), the global consulting, systems integration and outsourcing services company, has selected TelecityGroup's new 'Amsterdam 4' data centre to offer professional strategic support for its outsourcing services in the Netherlands and will be the first customer to move into the data centre when it opens in April 2008. TelecityGroup worked in close collaboration with the Amsterdam City Council during the design and planning phase of the project to ensure the facility comfortably exceeds the environmental regulations set out for data centres in the Netherlands.

Indian Telephone Industries (ITI), the telecom manufacturing arm of the Government, is set to build the country's largest data centre through a public-private partnership model. The new facility will target companies requiring backup data recovery. Bids from private and public companies for a strategic partnership with ITI for this major project are being invited and several companies that have applied are currently under evaluation.

HP Services has concluded a 7 year outsourcing agreement to manage the IT infrastructure of Unilever in the America's, Asia, Africa, Turkey and the Middle East. HP is to standardize, virtualized and optimize Unilever's enterprise computing and its client services applications in those regions. HP will work with Unilever's strategic partners including SAP, Microsoft and BT, and will also manage third parties.

German-based company Core Connection GmbH & Co. AG, a provider of customer care services for large companies, has chosen BT's Hosted Contact Centre service for inbound and outbound customer service projects. BT offers contact services over its own network on a pay per use model. Core Connection's headquarters in Berlin is connected to BT's IP network with 2 x 34Mbps access lines.

IT services company Logica has announced a series of new outsourcing deals over the past month. The new agreements include: BAA (British Airports Authority) to outsource Application Management for 5- years: Logica will be responsible for transforming and managing most of BAA's current software applications. Outsourced support services will be delivered using a mix of onshore and offshore models using Logica's Shared Services Centre in Bangalore. Some 400 different applications will be managed including aircraft stand allocation and staff rostering.

euNetworks, owner and operator of one of Europe's highest capacity fibre networks and provider of mission critical infrastructure and services, has completed an agreement with NL-ix (Netherlands Internet Exchange) to provide host|nex, a mission critical integrated colocation and private fibre network solution to host and network one of the world's largest Internet Exchanges. NL-ix as one of the largest Internet Exchanges unites 169 International members looking to exchange IP traffic with one another.

EDS has announced a 6 year IT services agreement with SR Technics, a provider of technical services for the civil aviation sector. EDS is to provide service desk support, workplace management, hosting, storage, back-up, and archiving and network services for major locations of SR Technics in Switzerland, the UK, Ireland and Bahrain supporting over 4,000 users.EDS and SR Technics also renewed an applications services agreement first signed in 2001. EDS will host SR Technics SAP, SAS and Maintenance and Engineering Document Systems.

Savvis has signed a three year agreement with Vovici Corporation, a provider of Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM) on an online survey basis. Vovici will relocate their US-based IT infrastructure to a single Savvis Data Centre based near Washington DC. The company will deploy their software using a Pay per Use SaaS (Software as a Service) delivery model, using Savvis' managed IT infrastructure in Data Centres in the UK with the option of future expansion to Savvis' Data Centre in Singapore.

Continuous availability solutions provider Stratus Technologies (ST) has announced the opening of its first Managed Services Centre outside the US and Europe. Based in Singapore, the centre sees growth driven by major financial, telecommunications and manufacturing organisations.

T-Systems has been selected to provide a 5-year global hosting and storage outsourcing deal for Royal Dutch Shell. The deal is worth 4.9 billion RM (or USD1.8 billion) over the contract term. Under the agreement T-Systems is to take over the infrastructure of five Shell Data Centres (3 in the Netherlands, and one each in the US and Malaysia). Some 900 IT employees of Shell will join the company as part of the deal. The Malaysian Data Centre will become the local Data Centre operating hub for the Asia-Pacific region.

ThermPhos, a Dutch chemical company, and Atos Origin, an international IT services company, has agreed at least a 3 year contract for the delivery of desktops, infrastructure and SAP supplication management services. The main aim of the contract is to provide for the flexible use of resources in line with ThermPhos' needs, and provide a balance between on-site and remote service provision.

BT Ireland has signed a 2.5m contract with CUSP Point Software to supply the electronic document management solutions provider with the platform for a SaaS (Software as a Service) delivery model. As a one-stop managed services provider, BT was selected for wide-ranging responsibilities, from application hosting to multi-vendor hardware procurement. The CUSP contract is one of BT Ireland's largest deals to date in this specific area.

AT&T US has won an extended contract with Paltak, a leading real-time video-based online community. AT&T will provide enterprise hosting and voice services to support the company's subscriber base. AT&T Enterprise Hosting Services will provide bandwidth and hosting to support interactive chat, video and audio applications. Hosting will be based in AT&T's US-based Internet Data Centres.

A European online gaming operator has selected NaviSite to provide colocation services representing more than USD10 million of total contract value over a 10-year period. The announcement follows NaviSite's planned U.K. expansion in a new state-of-the-art data centre located near London in Woking. The new data centre (out of a total of 18), will be the third such facility in London built to environmental standards for energy efficiency.

Peak 10, a leading independent data center operator and managed services provider, announced the renewal of its service agreement with Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, one of the largest regional amusement park operators in the world. Peak 10 will continue to provide Cedar Fair with dedicated infrastructure hosting and managed services out of its state-of-the-art data center in Charlotte, N.C. Cedar Fair, which acquired Paramount Parks in 2006, is a publicly traded partnership headquartered in Sandusky, Ohio.
