Accenture Plans 35,000 Staff In India By August 2007

Consulting firm Accenture Ltd. plans to raise its staff numbers in India to 35,000 by August, overtaking its home country the United States as its biggest employment hub. The company currently employs 27,000 people in India, spread across six cities: Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, and Chennai.
