adept4 swoops for safety consultant TGF

IT services firm adept4 has snapped up Cheshire-based software development and health and safety consultants TGF for an undisclosed sum.

The deal expects to take adept4's turnover from £2.5m in 2011 to more than £4m by the end of the year and follows significant organic growth in 2012. It also follows a £1m contract to provide IT support to global maritime engineering company Viking SeaTech which has it's corporate headquarters in Aberdeen. The acquisition will help the Daresbury-based firm drive staff numbers from 19 to 50.
