ASX-listed data centre builder, NextDC, has hired a new COO, Simon Cooper, and general sales manager, Nick Hillier. Both recruits will start their roles in October.

Cooper’s responsibilities entail all of the technical capabilities including datacentre development, facilities management, IT, security and technical operation functions. Before joining NextDC, Cooper was with Tata Communications, Level 3 Communications, and Cable and Wireless. Hillier will be charged with managing sales and product development functions, leading the national sales team.
