Blue Coat Systems, has announced that it has expanded its Blue Coat WebPulse collaborative cloud-based defense with the addition of a fifth data centre in Australia. The new data centre enhances the speed of dynamic ratings for regional customers while increasing Web awareness and protection against rapidly evolving Web-based threats for the more than 62 million worldwide WebPulse users.

 
With the addition of the new data centre in Australia, WebPulse users automatically benefit from a stronger distributed global network that now includes five global data centres located in the US, Europe and Asia. The data centres are strategically located around the world to provide rapid and comprehensive coverage of and ratings for unknown URLs and Web content in over 50 languages with real-time ratings in 17 languages.
