BT taking steps to open up Hong Kong markets to global investors

BT has announced that it is working with Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited’s to offer BT Radianz Venue to customers hosted at the exchange’s new data centre. This new suite of services will offer HKEx’s customers fully managed hosting capabilities and optimised latency, as well as interconnectivity between and within global trading venues.

BT, a founding member for the launch of HKEx hosting ecosystem, also plans to offer its full portfolio of BT Radianz services at the next generation data centre. Institutions opting for fully-managed services can benefit from cost-savings when compared to an in-house solution because of a reduction in the need for investment in infrastructure and equipment.
