American Internet Services, a leading provider of enterprise-class data centre, cloud and connectivity services in the western United States, has announced CaliHop, a privately-owned dedicated and virtual server hosting provider, has selected AIS as the cornerstone for the launch of its line of high-performance dedicated servers. After evaluating several different data centres, CaliHop chose AIS for its network performance, redundancy, and long history of operation in San Diego.

CaliHop was looking to expand its services from virtual servers into the dedicated server hosting market. They needed a data centre in Southern California that could provide an exceptional bandwidth selection to launch its line of high-performance dedicated servers. The move into the AIS Lightwave data centre has already taken place and CaliHop is accepting orders for its new line of business.
