Chandler data centre breaks ground on phase I

A state-of-the-art data centre has broken ground recently after the purchase of 8 acres of land at 2600 W. Germann Rd. in Chandler for US$1.6 million or US$200,000 per acre.

Nextfort Ventures is developing “Project Green Box” that is expected to total nearly 180,000 sq ft in two phases. Phoenix Investors #19 LLC of Tempe (an entity formed by Sunstate Builders) was the seller. Sunstate also has been retained by Nextfort to construct the project, which broke ground in May. “Nextfort was searching for sites in Chandler’s Price Corridor, a highly desired technology & employment corridor and Sunstate was able to deliver them the site”. “In addition, the City of Chandler went above and beyond to accommodate NextFort throughout the entitlement process,” said Ogan.
