CIOs ?are favouring managed services?
IT support services are apparently at the forefront of chief information officers' plans for the future. A recent survey by Bloomberg, in which more than 100 CIOs were polled, revealed that 55% plan to shift more of their budget spend towards managed services.
Only 33% of those surveyed said they would not put more investment into outsourced IT, while 12% said they were not yet sure. The majority of the CIOs polled said they were keen to embrace technological innovations which would allow them to process their data more quickly and cheaply.
