Companies vying to build NSA data centre in Utah

The National Security Agency's plan to build a massive data centre for intelligence analysis has drawn interest from some of the country's largest construction firms. More than a dozen contractor teams have announced they are gearing up to submit bids on the US$1.7 billion data centre.

The players include Salt Lake City-based Jacobsen Construction, which is teaming up with New York-based Turner Construction and Kiewit of Omaha, Nebraska.
