The Potawatomi Business Development Corp. said it will begin construction Monday on its US$36 million data centre in Milwaukee's Concordia neighbourhood. Called Data Holdings, the two-story, 45,000 sq ft data centre will be on an 11-acre site at the intersection of N. 33rd and W. State streets.
"Currently, there is not a data centre in south-eastern Wisconsin that has the level and scale of technology that Data Holdings offers," Dan McGrath, a data industry executive, said in a statement. McGrath is founder of Technology Management Inc. and co-founder and chief executive of NewAge Data Solutions.
