CSM Equities has secured a sale-leaseback deal for the 51.15-acre Lockheed Martin Corp. facility in Eagan. There has been continued speculation about the fate of the site since Lockheed Martin announced plans in November to close the plant, at 3333 Pilot Knob Road in Eagan.

In a statement, CSM said that it was exploring the possibility of retaining part of the 623,000 sq ft facility to create a data centre. “In addition to an enhanced data center, CSM envisions a larger scale mixed-use redevelopment of this site, which could include retail, restaurant, service, office and other uses,” according to the announcement. But at this point, there are few details about what CSM will propose.
