Datatrend proves data centres can be works of art

Datatrend Technologies, a network installation and IT technology services provider, reveals the world's four most beautiful data centres in the blog post, "Beautiful Data Centers: Our Top 4”. "Too often, a data centre only receives attention if it requires improvement," states Bill Roberts, and author of the blog post "Beautiful Data Centers: Our Top 4." "But there are some data centres that are built to be so well-organized, and so streamlined, that they deserve recognition as works of art and inspiration." The data centres include:

 1. Microsoft in Chicago: Easily navigatable, and so clean you can eat off the floors

2. IBM: Cabling free of tangles, clean grey and white floors, and a patch of grass for colour

3. Sweden ISP: Its underground location keeps it naturally cool, while its dedicated team keeps it unnaturally clean

4. Microsoft in Washington: Imagine the data centre that may appear on an intergalactic cruiser, and you will imagine this data centre.
