Dell has finalised its buy of Make Technology which it will fold into its Dell Services portfolio. According to the company, Make Technologies will enable customers re-architect applications to suit modern IT platforms like on the cloud.

Dell claims that with the acquisition, it will be able to update and modernise customer IT, in turn reducing operational costs. Make makes it easier to migrate to a standards based architecture, and move to data architecture that fits in better with their business strategies. Dell already has a portfolio of modernistion software and services so it thinks Make is a good addition to the roster.
