Du aims to invest in data centre project

Abu Dhabi UAE telecom operator du expects more growth over the next two to three years as the company looks into new investments that are outside the traditional telecom domains, its Chief Strategy and Investments Officer said in Abu Dhabi yesterday.

The comments were made after the telecom operator announced its first-quarter revenues in Dubai which went up by 29 per cent to Dh2.03 billion compared to Dh1.58 billion in 2010. The company is currently working on a data centre project and a services project across the region, Venkataraman said.
