Eaton opens data centres in Louisville and Simpsonville

Eaton, a diversified power-management company, has opened its twin data centres in Jefferson and Shelby counties. The opening was celebrated with local and state government officials during an event Thursday at the company’s site in Simpsonville.

Cleveland-based Eaton has invested US$160 million in the two facilities. One of the 102,000 sq ft data centres is located on Plantside Drive in Louisville’s Blankenbaker Station Business Park. The other identical facility is in Simpsonville’s Kingbrook Commerce Park.
