Equinix, a provider of global data centre services, has announced that all nine of its data centres in the UK and the Netherlands have achieved both ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 50001 (energy management) certifications from leading assurance provider, LRQA.

Leading the way in environmental standards, Equinix is now the first data centre provider in Europe to achieve ISO 50001 accreditation, emphasizing the company’s firm commitment to continuous improvements in both energy efficiency and environmental management.
