Fifosys to provide outsourced IT services from Interxion’s cloud hub at its London data centre

Interxion, a European provider of carrier-neutral colocation data centre services, has announced that Fifosys, a provider of IT services, will deliver a range of cloud-based ‘as-a-service’ solutions from Interxion’s Cloud Hub in its London data centre.

Fifosys delivers outsourced IT services to more than 100 companies, supporting around 3,000 end-users. Historically it has delivered its services from a data centre in Maidenhead, but due to performance and latency issues, as well as the need for increased connectivity options, Fifosys turned to Interxion. Interxion’s ability to guarantee sub millisecond latency as well as direct connections to a large selection of carriers was a significant factor in its selection. Fifosys now has a ‘Hot-Hot’ configuration in place between its original data centre and Interxion’s London site.
