Genpact has agreed to acquire privately-held IT services provider Headstrong Corp. for US$550 million in cash to expand its operations in the United States.

"The acquisition of Headstrong will also help us expand operations in the U.S. and shift our centre of gravity to be even closer to our clients," said Genpact’s Chief Operating Officer Tiger Tyagarajan.
