Green Data Centre Attracts Cash

Green House Data

provides the first truly green data centre located in the Cheyenne, Wyoming has raised USD 1.4 million to date and is expecting a further USD 2.2 million grant from the state of Wyoming. The facility is powered entirely with purchased renewable energy and in the future will be partially powered by on-site wind turbines. The data centre benefits from its location which provides 240 days of free cooling but also utilizes efficient cooling, next generation rack infrastructure and a scalable, modular design.
