HP opens Bulgaria data centre

During the opening ceremony of a data centre of Hewlett Packard in Sofia, President Rossen Plevneliev said Bulgaria could become a world IT player. The president added that industries of the future along with traditional sectors like tourism must be developed in Bulgaria.

The centre in Sofia is the first of its kind in Europe and will provide employment to highly qualified Bulgarian experts, who will control processes critical for the work of companies in different spheres like finance and telecommunication
