IceWEB receives unified data storage system order from the United States Geological Survey

IceWEB, a leading provider of Unified Data Storage appliances for cloud and virtual storage networks, has announced that it has received a significant order from the United States Geological Survey for multiple IceWEB 6000 unified data storage appliances. 

The system will be deployed in the agency's Reston, Virginia data centre and will synchronously replicate to IceWEB unified storage systems at two other U.S. locations for high availability and continuity of operations of mission-critical applications.  Configured for a VMware operating environment, each system includes twelve 1Gb Ethernet, four 10Gb Ethernet, and 126TB of ENT SAS disk space.
