IGate to open facility in Loudon County, create 250 jobs

Information technology and outsourcing company IGate Corp. plans to open a facility in Loudon County, Virginia that’s expected to create 250 jobs.

Gov. Bob McDonnell said that IGate will invest about US$1 million in the new facility. McDonnell says in a news release that the facility will expand IGates’ presence in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan market. IGate Government Solutions president Timothy Coffin says the facility will enhance the company’s ability to serve its government customers.
