International Game Technology has announced that Betfred, one of the world's largest independent bookmakers, is the first customer serviced from the IGT Interactive division's new office and data centre in Gibraltar. Using IGT's Gibraltar license gives Betfred full access to IGT rgs, the remote game server system. IGT rgs enables operators, such as Betfred, to optimize its online game content by adding IGT's games to its current iGaming platform without investing in a new online casino system.

The opening of the office and data centre adds to IGT's European presence. IGT is the first purely business-to-business company to be granted a Gibraltar Gaming License.
