Interoute's Cloud powers group to profitability

Interoute Communications, owner operator of Europe’s largest next-generation network, has announced that demand for its Unified ICT enterprise services and its pan European cloud service delivery network led it to its first full year as a net profitable company. Interoute’s top line revenue grew to €295 million, a rise of 10% over 2009, while EBITDA grew 46% to €58 million. Now Interoute plans to use the cash it is generating to drive more growth through acquisitions, a strategy it quickly put into effect with the acquisition of a managed video conferencing company in the first few months of 2011.

The company has eight data centres and 32 collocation facilities.
