Interxion expands and upgrades Dublin data centre

Interxion, a European provider of carrier-neutral colocation data centre services, has announced an expansion of its second Dublin data centre. The expansion, which will increase Interxion’s equipped space in Dublin by nearly 25%, will enable the company to continue to meet growing customer demand for colocation space and services, particularly from customers in the fast-growing digital media, gaming and cloud computing sectors.

The expansion project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2011.
