IO, the leading provider of next-generation modular data centre technology and services, announced today that the company has been awarded a contract by Merchant Partners, an industry leader in internet-based credit card processing and electronic check processing for internet, mail order/phone order, and brick and mortar retail businesses.

As part of the agreement, IO will provide Merchant Partners with Data Center as a Service delivered out of the IO Phoenix data centre. This approach supplies Merchant Partners a high-performance, cost-effective enterprise solution - without having to invest resources in building and maintaining its own data centre.
