iovation, the Device Reputation Authority protecting online businesses from fraud and abuse, today announced it has opened a new data centre in Miami in response to Latin America's rapid e-commerce growth. The data centre will primarily service customers and transactions in Latin America.
"Latin American countries like Argentina, Brazil, Columbia and Venezuela are enjoying rapid growth in e-commerce and other web services recently," said iovation Vice President of Technology Scott Waddell. "That online growth brings increasing exposure to web fraud and abuse for Latin American businesses and their end users. By locating this data center at the nexus of Latin American communication networks, iovation has strategically positioned itself to combat this fraud."
