Kenyan Government to set up data centre

The government in partnership with the private sector is planning to set up a Neutral National Data Center that will provide services to both the public and the private sector. Information and communication PS Bitange Ndemo says the data centre will ensure rapid distribution of accurate information to Kenyans.


As Kenya readies itself to achieve its Vision 2030 goals and with the business processing outsourcing considered one of its key drivers, the realization of a central data centre has spurred the government to action.
