Belgian mobile operator Mobistar said it has completed the acquisition of the Belgian business-to-business and carrier activities of Dutch telecom group KPN for €65 million. The completion followed a regulatory approval, under which Mobistar, in addition to its own wholesale services, has to retain the ADSL wholesale offer of the acquired business for a period of 18 months under the same conditions as before the acquisition.

The deal covers KPN Belgium's fibre network, two data centres, business customers and wholesale activities. A staff of 135 also joined the new owner.
