NaviSite, a provider of cloud-enabled enterprise hosting and application services, yesterday announced that it has appointed Philip Cheek as UK Managing Director.

The company says that based in the company's London, UK office, Cheek will oversee management of the UK data centre as well as lead its sales and marketing efforts throughout the UK and Europe. The company adds that it continues to accelerate its growth and offerings in the global cloud-based managed services market.
