New data centre in UK

Centrom, an information technology services and enterprise system integrator company, plans to join Aim this month in a flotation that will value it at GBP 8m. The company is raising GBP 2m to fund expansion and develop its own range of services, which include a 24-hour data centre. It also intends to make acquisitions both in the UK and abroad. Seymour Pierce is broker to the issue. Centrom (based in Surrey, UK) works with its partners to offer a Managed Service Provision (MSP) that provides ISVs with the ability to deploy its application from a central data centre direct to the customer site. Included as part of this service is the management of the infrastructure, the network and operating systems as well as the databases provided through a single Service Level Agreement (SLA).
