Fujitsu has been selected as one of three service providers announced as members of the panel for the provision of IT managed services by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI - formerly the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry).
The announcement is the outcome of a project led by MPI, and supported by other public sector agencies, to develop a syndicated procurement agreement. It covers the provision of service aggregation, service desk support, user device support, server support, procurement services, database management and other IT services. Under the new agreement, MPI has engaged Fujitsu New Zealand to deliver IT managed services from 1 November 2012 in a 4 plus 3 year contract.
