NG Bailey wins £15m M&E job at Birmingham University

NG Bailey has won a £15 million contract to provide M&E and IT services to Birmingham City University’s new Institute of Art and Design. Working alongside main contractor Willmott Dixon, NG Bailey will  provide a full M&E package to the new 18,000m2 building, along with an extensive IT package, which will be completed by the company’s specialist IT Services division.

The project will use Building Information Modelling from concept to completion - employing three-dimensional, real-time building modelling software which produces data aimed at increasing productivity in the design and construction stages of a project.
