Pacnet has announced that the company's Board of Directors has appointed Carl J. Grivner as Chief Executive Officer, effective 23 July 2012.

Mr. Grivner brings to Pacnet 23 years of executive and leadership experience, including 12 years of Chief Executive Officer experience in XO Communications, Worldport Communications, Cable & Wireless plc(Western Hemisphere) and Advanced Fibre Communications. He also brings along a global perspective and extensive international experience, having held leadership roles in North and Central America, Europe and Asia. Mr. Grivner will be based in Singapore.
