Paragon Development Systems (PDS), the Oconomowoc, Wisconsin headquartered IT company (pictured), is set to announce that they are to build a new “cloud extension centre” which is designed to help its customers use their private cloud networks more efficiently, Craig Schiefelbein, founder and chief executive officer of the company said to local media sources.
The firm, which has about 300 employees and more than US$177 million of annual revenue, is et to be built in Milwaukee County could employ 50 new staff.
The facility also will provide disaster recovery services, Schiefelbein said. The 50,000 sq ft data centre will be funded by privately held PDS and Mason Wells, a Milwaukee private equity firm that has a stake in PDS. It will cost more than US$25 million to build, Schiefelbein said.
