Rackwise has signed a renewal and expansion of its contract with the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory in Menlo Park, The Stanford Linear Accelerator is operated by Stanford University for the U.S. Department of Energy.

The particle research laboratory has been using Rackwise data center infrastructure management since 2009, and it is expanding its use of the software to model power use.
