RagingWire Sacramento data centre achieves LEED Gold certification

RagingWire Data Centers, the nation's premier data centre provider, has announced that its second Sacramento, California, data centre has been awarded LEED Gold certification by the US Green Building Council. LEED is the primary standard for the design, construction, and operation of environmentally friendly data centres.

LEED Gold certification demonstrates RagingWire's commitment to greater efficiency in energy, lighting and water use, as well as the utilization of recycled and reused materials during the construction process. The CA2 data centre features 250,000 sq ft of high power density data centre capacity designed for the highest levels of reliability and redundancy. The CA2 facility design process focused on achieving a model of energy and material efficiency through numerous design innovations and green construction techniques.
