Transmode, a global supplier of packet-optical networking solutions, has announced that the regional government of Khabarovsk, Russia, has deployed a data centre interconnection solution based on Transmode's TM-Series Intelligent WDM (iWD optical platform.

The deployment will provide e-government services for the businesses and 1.4 million population of the Khabarovsk region, region which is in the far east of Russia. Khabarosk regional government needed to maximise the capacity of the interconnection between its data centres and chose to work with LANIT-PARTNER. Together with LANIT-PARTNER, the network planners for Khabarovsk region chose Transmode as the optical networking provider to ensure maximum capacity for the administrative centre for Russia's Far East Province.
