SingleHop opens data centre in Phoenix

SingleHop Inc, a leading dedicated server and cloud hosting provider, has announced the opening of a data centre in Phoenix, Arizona. The facility, operated by IO, the leading provider of next-generation modular data centre technology and services, is the first Western US expansion for SingleHop. The company will now offer its customers the option to choose which data centre they want their hardware to reside within.

Initially, the modular data centre technology will allow SingleHop the capacity for 2,500 servers and act as the third location for all of its cloud hosting products. Unlike traditional data centre build-outs, modular data centres allow for the deployment of data centre capacity in a fraction of the time.
