Sprint has selected PLIX DC, thePolish Alliance Member of International Data Centre Group, as their colocation in Warsaw, expanding network into the highly-demand-driven Polish market. The expansion is expected to help meet the added connectivity demands in Europe driven by the continued uptake of cloud services by enterprise clients, and enable PLIX’s customers to enjoy the widest connectivity and peering options from the facility.
PLIX DC operates at the site of a carrier hub in the LIM building in downtown Warsaw. PLIX DC is a subsidiary of the Polish Internet Exchange (PLIX), Poland’s largest Internet exchange, and focuses on offering carrier neutral data centre services to telecom operators and content service providers. Strategically placed in the LIM building, a key interconnection site in Poland, PLIX is the only carrier neutral colocation provider at the building and attracts a vast number of domestic and international carriers.
