Stream Data Centers begins construction in The Woodlands

Stream Data Centers has started construction of a data centre development in The Woodlands. The Stream Private Data Centre will be 73,320 sq ft and will be built to withstand 146-mph winds and uplift, Dallas-based Stream said in a statement. The facility will seek LEED Gold Certification.

A single tenant can control the facility, or it can be divided into three independent data centre suites, Stream said. Each suite contains a private 10,000 sq ft raised-floor data hall, private disaster recovery office space, redundant private telecommunications rooms and a private utility yard.
