Super data centre at University of Iceland

An experimental super data centre will be operated in Iceland in the next three years—an agreement to that regard was signed at the University of Iceland last week. The university was among three Nordic universities to apply to host the data centre and won the bid.

Three institutions in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, each of which have run super data centres separately in their respective countries, decided to establish a joint data centre in Iceland..
