Symantec and Red Hat re-engage for disaster recovery and storage

Symantec and Red Hat are expanding a decade-long relationship to jointly provide agile private and hybrid clouds that offer off-premise disaster recovery, improved storage management, and cost-effective failover for Oracle databases.

During this week’s Red Hat Summit, the two companies announced an expanded collaboration across engineering, support and marketing groups in both corporations to provide resilient data centers as well as agile cloud deployments based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Symantec’s storage and availability solutions.
