Tata Consulting signs A$50 million contract with AGL

Mumbai-based IT services company Tata Consultancy Services has been awarded a five year infrastructure management services contract with Australia’s largest gas and electricity retailer, AGL Energy.

 

ANZ general manager, Varun Kapur, said Tata already been been working with AGL since 2007 on programs including gas trading, advanced metering and outsourced SAP ERP projects. He also said the relationship had evolved over time from a simple outsourcing arrangement to a full services deal covering consulting, implementation, outsourcing and support.
