Technical Real Estate (TRE) the Sydney based data centre developer and owner who have secured sites in Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo,  has reached agreement with Challenger Financial Services Group over a 12-hectare site in the Canberra region of Hume. The company plans to develop a $A1bn, 14,000 m2 technology park for the Canberra market that is capable of operating independently of Canberra's electricity grid. The 28 megawatt facility is planned to complete in 2020 completed in 2020.
