Tulip Telecom income up 15% to Rs 2705 crore in FY2012

Tulip Telecom, an enterprise data service provider, has posted revenues of Rs 2705.1 crore in fiscal 2011-12, up 15.1% over FY11. Tulip posted net profit of Rs 309.7 crore for 12 months ended March 31 2012, up 1.1% over previous fiscal. Profit in fourth quarter was Rs 82.7 crore against Rs 67.1 crore in Q4 2010-11.

Recently, Tulip launched world's third largest data center in Bangalore with an investment of Rs 900 crores in FY 11 and registered leading names such as, NTT, IBM and HP as some of its major customers.
